Honda launches customer loyalty program

Honda 2Wheelers recently announced its +Honda Joy Club+ – its first-ever customer loyalty program – even as it entered its milestone 18th year in India. This Club provides unmatched benefits for both existing and new Honda 2-wheeler customers.

“India contributes 32% to Honda sales worldwide with 39 million customers at present and still new customers joining the Fast-growing Honda family every 5 seconds,” said Minoru Kato, President and CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. “Mumbai has always been an important market for Honda and has done wonders for its 2-wheeler industry.”

“This is the first time that a 100% digital loyalty program is empowering customers with choice where their enrolling on the Joy Club program can earn virtual Honda currency at both purchase and subsequently every service visit too,” Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, said while adding that Honda is gifting Joy Club membership free of cost to all new customers till November 30 this year.

He said the digital customer loyalty program will be implemented at all Honda touchpoints in India, while film superstars Akshay Kumar and Rajnikant continued to the brand ambassadors for Honda. However, to meet the growing demands for Honda 2-wheelers, the company is into expansion mode with the setting up of a factory in Gujarat to increase production to 7 million units by 2020, he added.
