54 buildings identified for demolishing in Haryana

Following action by government in U.P, now Haryana government also introduced Bulldozer Campaign in the state and demolished residential and commercial buildings of large number of hard core criminals, gangsters and drug & liquor smugglers in past few days. To intensify this scheme CID and Narcotics Crime Bureau in the state has now prepared a list of criminals to demolish their residential as well as commercial buildings immediately which include 28 structures belong to hard core criminals and 26 structures belong to drug suppliers likely to be demolished under Bulldozer Scheme any time.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar  Lal Khatter while talking to media persons at Chandigarh said that state government had to take this decision in view of fast increasing crimes and drugs & liquor smuggling and sale and continue till such anti-social elements are completely wiped out from the state. He said, state government has already demolished large number of buildings illegally constructed by criminals and drug smugglers most of these were constructed on government land in recent past and has witnessed relief in crimes. Khatter said, State Narcotics Department as well as CID has now prepared a list to demolish another 54 buildings owned by hard core criminals, gangsters, drug smugglers and Bulldozer Campaign will continue in future also till illegal activities finish.

Chief Minister said, large number of buildings belonging to nearly a hundred criminals in 10 districts and 80 drug smugglers in 11 districts are on the radar of CID in Haryana to be demolished under Bulldozer Campaign by the end November this year. According to information, Haryana state government has already demolished 68 illegal buildings owned by 28 anti-social elements maximum of these in Panipat district and 30 illegal buildings owned by26 drug smugglers in Haryana state maximum of these situated in Sirsa district.
