Alchemist Ojas Hospital Organizes Mega Walkathon to Celebrate National Vascular Day

Panchkula:  Alchemist Ojas Hospital, Panchkula, successfully organized a Mega Walkathon to commemorate National Vascular Day, observed on August 6th. The event aimed to raise awareness about vascular health and the importance of timely medical intervention to prevent amputations.

The walkathon, themed “Make India Amputation Free,” saw participation from around 500 enthusiastic individuals who braved heavy rain to show their support for the cause. Dr. Ankur Aggarwal, Panchkula’s first vascular surgeon and senior Consultant Vascular Surgery Alchemist Ojas Hospital emphasized the significance of vascular surgery in saving limbs, particularly for diabetic patients who are at risk of gangrene.

During the event, Dr. Ankur Aggarwal delivered an awareness talk on vascular diseases, highlighting the crucial role of vascular surgeons in preventing amputations. Dr. Mukta Kumar, Chief Medical Officer, Panchkula, also emphasized the importance of vascular health and encouraged the public to prioritize their vascular well-being.
