Ambala Central Jail warder attacked, injured by gangsters group

Ambala: Ramesh Singh a warder in Ambala Central Jail, one of the biggest jail in the state accomodation several high profile persons, government officers, gangsters and hard core criminals was attacked by the group of gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Kala Rana and his brother Surya Partap Rana alias Noni while he was on duty during afternoon while he was having attendance of the prisoners in a barack. A group of nearly 10 gangsters all of sudden attacked him stabbing with sharp edged instruments including screw drivers when he started bleeding from different parts of his body and warder raised alarm for help when several members of seccurity staff from adjoining baracks arrived at the spot and saved him, applying force on prisoners to overpower  in which several prisoners also sustained injuries.

Ramesh Singh, Warder severely bleeding rushed to the civil hospital for treatment, whereas injured prisoners were treated at the hospital inside the jail campus. SHO Baldev Nagar Police Staion reached at the jail along with police team and a case was registered against the prisoners made attempt on the life of jail warder. Among jail security staff saved the life of victim Warder were Head Warders Satbir Singh, Rajpsl , Sarvjit, and Rajesh Kumar along with the Warders Jaipal, Rajesh Kumar, Surjit, Manjeet Singh and Rakesh. Among prisoners against whom case was registered by the police included Krishan, Chirag, Vishal alias Vishu, Sukhdev, Shubham, Sahil, Vipin and Vishal all members of terrorist groups.
According to eyewitnesses, the prisoner Vanktesh Garg undertrial in several hard core criminal activities including a case of murder had attacked Warder Ramesh Singh with a screw driver when his companions too joined him to kill Ramesh Singh save by the jail security staff. Information also reveals that alleged accused were members of gangster groups.
