Amritsar: Nearly after the gap of twelve days, the Beating Retreat Ceremony resumed at the Joint Check Post (JCP) of the Punjab Frontier, Attari in Amritsar on Tuesday.

Today the ceremony was held exclusively for media personnel; whereas the general public was not allowed to watch the ceremony. The decision to scale down the ceremony was taken last month after the Phelgam terror attack on April 22 calming the lives of 25 Indian nationals besides one foreign national.
