BEL posts robust Q3 performance with 24% growth in revenue

Bengaluru: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has delivered a strong financial performance in the third quarter of FY 2025-26, registering an impressive 24 per cent growth in Revenue from Operations, underlining sustained demand for its defence and strategic electronics portfolio.

BEL reported Revenue from Operations of Rs. 7,121.98 crore during the third quarter, a growth of 23.73 per cent compared to Rs. 5,756.12 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The strong quarterly performance propelled the company’s cumulative revenue for the first nine months of FY 2025-26 to Rs. 17,302.46 crore, up from Rs. 14,538.30 crore recorded in the same period last year.

Profitability also showed healthy growth. Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the third quarter stood at Rs. 2,147.68 crore, marking a 22.43 per cent increase over Rs. 1,754.15 crore in Q3 of FY 2024-25. For the period up to Q3, PBT rose to Rs. 5,171.22 crore, compared to Rs. 4,242.37 crore a year earlier.

The company’s Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter came in at Rs. 1,590.06 crore, registering a growth of 20.82 per cent over Rs. 1,316.06 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Cumulative PAT up to the third quarter increased to Rs. 3,845.32 crore, as against Rs. 3,183.47 crore recorded during the same period last fiscal.

Reflecting strong order inflows and a healthy pipeline, BEL’s order book position remained robust at Rs. 73,015 crore as on January 1, 2026, providing strong revenue visibility for the coming quarters.

The consistent growth in revenue and profits highlights BEL’s execution strength, expanding indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities, and its pivotal role in supporting India’s defence and strategic electronics requirements.
