BSF seized drug at Indo-Pak border

Amritsar : Border Security Force have seized five packets of heroin (drug) consignment in the agriculture field at Indo-Pak border.

In an official statement issued here, stated that On 22nd April, during morning hours, on specific information  BSF troops launched a search operation in the outskirts of bordering village Daoke having close proximity to the Pakistan border in the Amritsar sector.  During the search, troops recovered 05 packets of narcotic substance packed together as single consignment (Gross weight 05 Kgs), from the farming fields of village Daoke.

BSF official stated that the consignment seems to have been dropped by a rogue drone.
