Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Furniture Association in collaboration with Industries Department, Chandigarh Administration organized MSME Awareness Session in which Vishal Sabharwal, Superintendent, Industries Department, Chandigarh Administration was present as the Chief Guest.
He was welcomed by the patron and founder of the association Tulsiram Singla, President Yograj Bansal, Chairman Naresh Kumar, Vice President Satish Goyal, Sunil Bansal, General Secretary Sachin Jain, Cashier Sandeep Jain, Secretary Nishant Goyal, Rahul Gupta Rajiv Gupta and spokesperson Bharat Shah and other office bearers Ramesh Garg, Suresh Goyal, Gulab Jain, Subhash Agarwal, Charanjit Singh, Rajendra Jain, Anil Jain, Vansh Goyal, Arun Massey and Prakash Singla etc.

Vishal Sabharwal highlighted the government’s plans and policies for the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). He explained that the MSME sector is the backbone of the country’s economy and the government is implementing numerous schemes to expand it.
Jaspinder Kaur, Legal Consultant, Department of Industries, provided detailed information on online dispute resolution. The organization’s MSME Facilitation Helpdesk organized a RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) program as part of a session on the PMEGP scheme, which covered various aspects of the beneficiary schemes and eligibility criteria for MSMEs.
Pankaj Vohra, Regional Director, ESIC, briefed the entrepreneurs present on the ESI scheme. Rajiv Chhabra, State Medical Officer, and Sandeep Srivastava, Social Security Officer, shared information about the SPREE scheme, a special initiative to protect the interests of employees.
On behalf of Punjab National Bank, Siddharth Mittal, AGM, highlighted MSME financial assistance schemes. The event was attended by over one hundred thirty MSME entrepreneurs and executive members of the association.
