Comic Con Bengaluru is finally back after 2 years break with cosplay competition, gaming arena

Bengaluru : The pop culture enthusiasts had the time of their life on Day one of “Bangalore Comic Con”,  on Saturday With the largest pop-culture celebration in the sub-continent, Comic Con India, returned on-ground after a 2-year hiatus. The “9th Edition of Bengaluru Comic Con” kicked off with the comic fanatics witnessing some of the most popular names in the global comic scene as well as noteworthy Indian labels who have been entertaining us with spectacular stories since ages! .

Maruti Suzuki Arena Bengaluru Comic Con 2022, powered by Meta in association with Crunchy Roll, hosted publishing houses and artistes including Jonathan Kunz (Co-Creator of War and Peas),  Raymund Bermudez  Brown paperbag, Derek Domnic D’Souza, Md Faisal (Creator of Garbage Bin),  Happy Fluff Comics, Awkwerrrd, Bakarmax,  Indusverse comics,  Meta Desi and River ComicsHoly Cow Entertainment, Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle Studios & Raj Comics.  The most-awaited event featured an 80,000 sq ft gaming arena, which had daily tournaments among many other exciting activities for all attendees. The Day 1 of Comic Con India also witnessed panels & performances every half hour on the main stage. Popular names like Rounaq Rajani (stand-up), Rapper Siri and illusionist Karan Singh entertained the audience.

 Bengaluru witnessed fun experiences with Warner Bros Pictures’ Shazam!, Fury of the Gods, Puss in Boots, The Last Wish, Meta, Maruti Suzuki Arena and The Arena and much more. The event was attended by diverse enthusiasts and cos players who showcased their fandom across anime, films and gaming. The tickets for Day 1 were sold out within hours as the event kicked off at KTPO trade centre Bengaluru.

The two-day event will conclude on Sunday, providing the pop culture geeks a shopping experience with brands such as The Souled Store, Nerd Arena, Red Wolf, Maya Toys, Macmerise, The Comic Book Store and Fat Cat Collectibles among many others.
