New Delhi: The nationwide civil defence mock drills have been ordered by the central government to prepare states and UTs for “hostile attacks” amid “emerging threats”.
Executing simulated exercises today in Delhi as instructed by the Government of India. Below is the comprehensive list of locations where drills will take place throughout the 11 districts of Delhi. The mock drill will run from 4 PM to 7 PM.
East Delhi: Maharishi Valmiki College of Education, Scope Minar, DM East Office, Kondli market; Sahyog Apartment, Mayur Vihar Phase-1.
West Delhi: District Magistrate’s office and MCD East Zone Office located in Raja Garden; J-Block Market in Rajouri Garden; DLF Capital Greens in Moti Nagar; SKV Mundka; and DDU Hospital in Hari Nagar.
South Delhi: Select Citywalk Mall, Saket; Birla Vidya Niketan School, Pushp Vihar; Sitaram Bharatiya Institute of Science & Research, Mehrauli; Anupam Apartment, Saket; District Court Complex, Saket.

A countrywide civil defence simulation is scheduled for today Wednesday, May 7, anticipated to occur in more than 250 districts across India. This initiative follows directives from the Ministry of Home Affairs to states and Union territories to enhance their preparedness for potential ‘hostile’ attacks, particularly in light of the recent terrorist incident in Pahalgam that resulted in the deaths of 26 individuals, amidst ongoing tensions with Pakistan.
