Cow slaughtering, forcible religion conversion,atrocity on women & Dalits under prosecution in Haryana

As a result of large number of atrocity cases on Hindus, Dalits, backward classes  and females in Mewat area in Haryana state reported by several welfare organizations in the state when a delegation of VHP and other welfare organizations met Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khatter demanding immediate relief for those residing in Mewat district in which large number of cases regarding forcible conversion of religion, kidnapping and rapes of females other than Muslim communities, encroachment over properties of people belonging to weaker section as such large number of residents in Mewat migrated to other places in past sometime. Dr. Surinder Jain General Secretary and Vinod Bansal National Convener VHP demanded immediate action against such excesses by Islamic Jihad and save residents of Mewat since past several years since area is turning to mini Pakistan in the state.

A high power enquiry committee comprising of Pawan Kumar a former Judge supported by Sultan Valmiki Chief Valmiki Maha Panchayat,  Dev Dutt Sharma President Bar Association Sohna and Kanhaiya Lal Arya Vice President Arya Pratinidhi Sabha was constituted to investigate thoroughly and submit a detailed report, which invited as many as 48 victims to record their statements of excesses by Islamic Jihad in Mewat area forcing them to part with their houses and properties unable to face excesses, but only 19 victims produced before committee due to fear. The report submitted by the committee was shocking stating that Mewat in Haryana state becoming grave yard torturing communities other than Muslims having nearly 200 incidents of forced conversion of religion to Islam and married them, large number of women stabbed to death after rape, even a case in which 12 years old minor was not spared and a woman forcibly abducted, gang raped by nine persons and brutally killed after four days.

Chief Minister Haryana Manohar Lal Khatter had a meeting with the members of different communities and administration at Nuh recently and later held a press conference. He said, forcible conversion of religion will not be permitted at any cost in the state and a new Dharam Swatantar Law will be introduced in which stern action will be taken against those involved in conspiracies to tarnish relationship between communities in the state and violators of Hindu minority act will not be spared at any cost. Pointing at 2500 cow skins recovered in a village at Nuh sometime ago, expressing deep concern Khatter said there is strict ban over killing cows in Haryana state and the incident indicates that ban over cow slaughtering is being over ruled in the state as such state government is going to make amendments in this act in coming Monsoon Vidhan Sabha Session and hearing of accused of cow slaughtering cases will be held in special Fast Track Court and those involved in this crime would be promptly, severely punished as per amended law.

Khatter said, country as well as state belongs to every community or a caste and such type of violations causing clashes between the communities will not be allowed at any cost. He added that decision has been taken to set Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) in Nuh district and there is proposal to have another Women IRB at Gurugram. Chief Ministerv said, in order to meet shortage of water in Mewat, proposal has already been made to make available supply of 100 cusec drinking from Yamuna canal along KMP Express-way, which would cost amount worth Rs 220 crore. He said, in order to make available employment opportunities for youths in Mewat, industry is being developed on both side of KMP Express way in near future.
