District Administration Amritsar Demolishes House of Drug Smugglers Anwar Gill & Abhi

Amritsar, March 25 – The District Administration Amritsar demolished the house of Anwar Gill and Abhi, alleged notorious drug smugglers, in Village Gumtala, Police Station Cantonment. The demolition was carried out using a JCB machine and laborers.

Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, who oversaw the operation, in a staement issued here today warned drug smugglers that anyone involved in illegal activities will face strict action. He emphasized that the administration will continue to take action until those involved in wrongdoing either reform or leave Punjab.

According to Police Commissioner Bhullar, five cases have been registered against Anwar Gill, including one under the NDPS Act and the Arms Act. Abhi also has cases registered against him under the NDPS Act and the Arms Act. Both Anwar Gill and Abhi are cousins and reside in the same house.

DCP Alam Vijay Singh, ACP Shivdarshan Singh, and other senior police officers were present during the demolition.
