Panipat: A government doctor working as Senior Malaria Inspector (SMI) has accused a female lawyer and her accomplices of trapping him in a false honey trap and blackmailing him for Rs 11 lakh extortion . The incident started when the lawyer and her friend befriended the doctor and later lured him to call him at a flat on the pretext of providing medical treatment. The doctor was assaulted and threatened with a false of rape attempt. A police case has been registered on the complaint of a female who allegedly sexually assaulted her. About 10 days ago, the doctor, a resident of Israna, visited Gohana Road to meet his acquaintance Narendra Pandit from Naultha village where he met two women with Narendra, who introduced the doctor as a Civil Hospital physician. One of the women said she was a lawyer and the other was introduced as her friend. Both took the doctor’s phone number, saying they may seek from him health-related advice when required.

The very next day, the lady lawyer spoke to the doctor on the phone about some treatment. After that, her friend also began calling him frequently and even visited the hospital once. On 6 July, she (lawyer’s friend) called him and said she was unwell and couldn’t visit the hospital. She asked him to come to her flat instead. The doctor agreed and reached the flat located on the fifth floor of a building at around 5 PM. The woman offered him a cold drink and then took him to the bedroom, asking him to undress for intimacy. In the meantime, suddenly, two young men entered the room. They snatched the doctor’s phone and began roughing him up. The men threatened to implicate him in a fake rape case against him if he didn’t pay Rs 11 lakh. The lady lawyer’s friend also stood there smiling while this happened. The doctor begged them to let him go, saying he had a family and a government job.
The men then made the doctor speak to the lady lawyer on the phone. A short while later, she also arrived at the flat. Together, finally they agreed to reduce the extortion demand which was finally settled Rs 4 lakh ,when the doctor said he didn’t have the money at that moment and would arrange it by 4 PM the next day. On 7 July, the lawyer called the doctor via WhatsApp and again threatened to file a false rape case if he failed to pay the Rs 4 lakh since accused have political connections. The doctor filed a complaint with the police. Based on his statement, a case has been registered under BNS sections 308(2) and 308(6) against the lady lawyer, her friend, and the two young men. Police investigations also revealed that the lawyer has political influence and has been seen at events with a BJP minister.
DSP Satish said that a case has been registered against two women and investigation is going on, and further action will be taken on the basis of what comes out in the investigation. In a complaint given to the Old Industrial Police Station, the doctor said that 10 days ago he had gone to Gohana Road, where he met a man with two women. One woman introduced herself as a lawyer and the other as her friend. Both of them took his mobile number saying that they would take health related tips from him if required. According to the doctor (SMI), the next day the woman lawyer called him and talked about his grandfather’s treatment. Then the woman lawyer’s friend also started calling him and she also came to the hospital for treatment. On July 6.
During a police investigation, Doctor said the friend called him to her flat on Assandh Road citing ill health. The woman gave him a drink and then took him to the bedroom on the pretext of showing him the flat and then made him take off his clothes. Then two young men came into the room and snatched his mobile and started fighting with him. After this, the woman and the young men threatened to implicate him in a rape case. Talking to media persons, DSP Headquarters Satish Vats informed that a complaint had come to the Old Industrial Area police station in which a case of demanding money by threatening rape was reported, on which the police have registered an FIR and started collecting evidence. The DSP said that Rs 11 lakh was demanded, while the deal was finalized for Rs 4 lakh. However, no money transaction took place.
