Panchkula: Double engine BJP government has completely failed in Haryana, Former Chief Minister Bhupendra Hooda raising questions on BJP’s 11 years of tenure said  there is no progress in the state during this period. He accused the ruling BJP government of not giving any major project to Haryana in the past 11 years rule in the state listing BJP’s failures in areas like health, education and employment.sectors. Hooda said that the Congress government had done many development works during its tenure while the BJP government did not take them forward. He also accused the BJP of corruption and bad governance. Former Haryana Chief Minister said on Friday that the BJP, which has been in power for the last 11 years, has proved to be a complete failure, since in 11 years, the double engine government proved to be a complete failure in Haryana, neither did the Center give any major project to Haryana nor could the state government get any major project from the Center.

Talking to the media in New Delhi in the recent past, Hooda had compared the report cards of BJP and Congress with facts and figures. He shared details of the work done for every section including health, education, employment, agriculture, electricity, Dalits, backward and women. Talking to the media Haryana Congress President Chaudhary Udaybhan said that while doing historic work in the field of health, the Congress government had built a new health university, six new medical colleges at Karnal, Mewat, Khanpur, Mahendragarh, Bhiwani, Faridabad, AIIMS-2 and National Cancer Institute Badshah, along with this, 10 national super specialty institutes were approved in AIIMS-2. He said, along with this 641 new rural hospitals CPC-PHC were built in the state. He added that to promote medical education in the state, the MBBS fees were kept at just 40 thousand rupees, but the BJP government increased it to 40 lakh rupees. Hooda alleged that in the past 11 years the ruling government did not build a single medical college or university in the state, nor was the work of AIIMS Manethi taken forward.

Hooda said, ” The BJP government did not open a single central university, any big government university, polytechnic, ITI, engineering college in Haryana while ruling in the state. The Indian National Defense University was transferred to another state. Not a single national educational institution was opened in the state in the last 11 years. Former chief minister said more than 30 papers were leaked during the BJP government ruling in the state, BJP government ended permanent employment and started the practice of contracting in Kaushal Nigam. Hooda said six new IMTs were built in the state during the tenure of Congress, whereas BJP could not build even a single IMT in Haryana. The former Chief Minister said that the Congress set up five power plants and also established one approved nuclear plant.
