Panipat:  Cyber Crime Police has arrested five members of the gang identified as Mandeep, Sandeep alias Tony resident of Bhambhewa village in Jind district presently living in Rajiv Colony Rohtak , Pawan resident of Dhigana village in Jind, Sawan and Deepanshu both resident of Gamdi by luring a young man living in Dahar village, to buy 100 crypto USDT, hacked his mobile phone and defrauded him of 11995 crypto USDT . During interrogation, it was found that the accused sent the scanner using the SIM card and committed the fraud by hacking the mobile. A complaint was lodged with the Cyber Crime Police and the cyber crime team started investigating and succeeded in busting the gang and arrested five members of the gang on Tuesday that defrauded a large number of people with Crypto USDT.

Cyber Crime Police Station in-charge Sub Inspector Ajay said that during interrogation, the arrested accused admitted to committing the crime along with their two other accomplices. During interrogation, it was revealed that Deepanshu and Saavan had provided SIM cards to the people involved in the gang. The accused of cheating carried out the fraud by hacking the mobile phone by sending a scanner and tricking the victim into buying crypto USDT from the same SIM. All the five arrested accused were produced in the court, which sent Sawan and Deepanshu to judicial custody and granted three days police remand to interrogate Mandeep, Sandeep alias Tony and Pawan. During the remand, the police will try to recover the cheated crypto USDT
