Two fourth class employee arrested
Ambala: The special team of Kurukshetra health department has busted the illegal racket of fetal sex determination in the Cantt Civil Hospital of Ambala Cantt In the raid at 10 am on Thursday. The team arrested Sagar, a fourth class employee of the hospital and his another companion, an agent Rajji, both were arrested on the spot while checking sex of a woman on an ultrasound machine. Kurukshetra health department had arranged for a female who was first reached at Ambala cantt bus stand, then was called opposite the hospital.
The Kurukshetra team conducted a raid in the ultrasound room, where the woman was lying on the bed to find out the sex of the unborn child in her foetus. During search currency notes of Rs 60 thousand were found from both Sagar and Rajji involved in illegal sex determination of a woman. Further details have yet to be released.
