Gang of 7 preparing fake currency notes arrested

CIA StaffKaithal police busted a gang preparing fake currency notes and  arrested seven persons recovering 1100 fake currency notes of Rs 500 in one series. Police also seized currency paper, computer, coloured printer few fake currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 100 along with a stolen motorcycle from them. Out of six arrested persons, two were remanded to police remand and four others were sent to jail under judicial custody by the court.

While addressing media persons Ashok Shashank SP told that police team led by Kashmir Singh SI and Mukesh Kumar ASI stopped a suspected youth driving a motorcycle without number plate near Drain Bridge on Khurana Road attempted to flee seeing police checking vehicles on the road and was chased by police team caught him. During checking police recovered 40 fake currency notes of Rs 500 from the youth identified as Vijay resident of village Kathwad who during preliminary investigation admitted that fake currency notes are being printed by his accomplishes Dinesh, and Sukhvinder Singh resident of village Rasulpur and Sanjay alias Sanju presently residing at Bhagat Singh Colony. During preliminary investigation arrested youth disclosed that Dinesh, Anil and Jasbir Singh used to sell fake currency notes in the market. He said that police has also arrested seventh absconding member of the racket Om Parkash.

CIA Staff Inspector Anup Singh told that Sanjay and Dinesh were remanded to police custody and during investigation police recovered Rs 20000 fake currency notes from Vijay, Rs 150000 fake currency notes from Dinesh, Rs 160000 fake currency notes from Sanjay, Rs 110000 fake currency notes from Anil, Rs 50000 fake currency notes from Jasbir Singh an Rs 60000 fake currency notes from Sukhvinder during remand period.
