Gang stolen 120 motorcycles in Haryana busted, recovered 60 vehicles

PANIPAT (SATISH HANDA):  CIA Staff Panipat police arrested mastermind of a gang identified as Hashim resident of Bagpat in U.P during five days police remand admitted stolen nearly120 motorcycles from Haryana mostly at Panipat along with his companion Mursheed a resident of Kairana in Western U.P. He disclosed that both used to visit Panipat by bus and manage to lift two motorcycles mostly ‘Bullet’ brand breaking handle lock and take away applying mater key usually parked outside ‘Angle Mall in Sector 11-12 or another lonely places and the entire operation taking hardly five minutes.

DSP Headquarter Satish Vats told that a police patrolling party saw Hasheem moving under suspicious manners near sector 13-17 joining point while planning to lift a motorcycle when police tried to question him he attempted to slip and was caught by the police when during preliminary investigation he admitted planning to lift a bike and stolen nearly 120 motorcycles in past about 18 months along with his companion Mursheed and few others attempting to sell stolen vehicles or dismantling the vehicles to sell out spare parts to mechanics in U.P. Satish Vats DSP told that during remand police was able to recover 60 motorcycles. He said, Hasheem was studies only up to class IX and was shortly opening a workshop for the repairs and sale of spares of motorcycles for which he has already arranged a place at Sattiganj Market at Meerut. Hasheem disclosed that he is having six motorcycles for his personal use. According to police, teams have been deployed for the arrest of Mursheed and remaining members of the gang.
