Covid-19: Tamanna shares her experience of isolation ward

After 14 days struggle Tamanna Jain a young female resident of Sector 14 Sonepat in Haryana student of Master of Applied Mathematics in University of Cambridge at U.K arrived home on March 18, 2020 was found suffering from symptoms  like cold, cough and fever while having medical tests was found corona positive. She was immediately admitted in Khanpur Medical College and after 14 days fight with corona disease she found herself cured and during medical check up she was found corona negative and reached home defeating corona.

While having a talk with media persons at her residence, Tamanna  expressed her 14 days experience in the isolation ward of hospital and told that she was in the state of self confidence, fearless having faith in God and will power with positive thoughts during treatment in the hospital staying away from her family in isolation cabin spending most of the time in reading journals and her educational books. Tamanna told that she used to have morning and evening walk for few minutes in-spite of tiredness in body due to fever, having feelings as if she was suffering from flu. She said spending sometime everyday in ‘dhayana’ and simple yogic postures giving her feelings of mental as well as body relief.

Tamanna said, she used to obey staff nurses as well as doctors attending her advised to take healthy diet including ‘Dalia’ being served in the hospital along with sufficient fruits including orange, kiwi, apple, banana and Vitamin C tablets daily, which are essential for a patient suffering from corona disease. Tamanna advised people to obey complete lock down declared by the government and stay inside the house, wear face mask when going out, avoid joining a gathering or shake hands with anyone, use hand sanitizer frequently when coming from outside, wash your hands quite often in the day and above all do not hide identity on finding corona symptoms and rush for medical examination for early treatment and save others likely to get affected.
