Haryana government to fix treatment charges in private hospitals

State government Haryana has taken decision to fix treatment charges in hospital. Talking to media persons Cabinet Minister for Home & Health department  Anil Vij presently holding office at his Ambala Cantt residence due to fracture in his hip and advised by the doctors bed rest talking to media persons expressing deep concern said that Haryana state government is providing free medical treatment to patients including those suffering from epidemic outbreak corona in the state, whereas on the other hand most of private hospitals in the state are charging huge amount for the treatment of such patients alleged robbing mentally disturbed due to fear of fast spreading disease at this stage. Vij said that large numbers of complaints have been received in this regard from the families of suffering patients that most of private hospitals are demanding heavy treatment charges from corona patients in the state of terror as such government has decided to fix treatment charges for corona patients in all private hospitals in Haryana state as already implemented by the government at Delhi and Tamilnadu states to be announced shortly.

Vij said, according to information some of the private doctors trying to create terror among patients suffering from corona virus, admit them in the hospital, charging too high amount for corona test although they suffer from ordinary seasonal fever for the sake of extracting money. Meanwhile , Manohar Lal Khatter on way to Chandigarh stayed at Ambala Cantt at the residence of Anil Vij Home & Health Minister Minister on bed rest. Both discussed this issue for over 45 minutes when Khatter agreed to the proposal by Vij. He said, green signal in this regard will be given in a day or so by Haryana state government and private hospitals in the state will not be permitted to charge medical expenses from corona patient more than prescribed by government.
