INLD divided due to selfish people in party: Om Parkash Chautala

Talking to this correspondent, five times chief minister in Haryana state Om Parkesh Chautala presently released on parole said that BJP all the times remained in power with the support of INLD in past years and Jan Nayak Janta Party (JJP) launched by Dushyant Chautala after having break from INLD had alliance with BJP this time in order to form government in the state. He said, there is as such no government in the state least bothered about welfare of people for which ruling government will have to reply in Vidhan Sabha session.

Chautala said, all developmental projects in the state have come to halt for which ruling alliance government blames corona virus outbreak. He said, state government had amount worth Rs 3500 crore in state treasury when INLD left the government, whereas today Haryana state facing burden of debts worth over Rs Two Lakh crore and ruling government has been forced to collect Rs 5 donation from each school child thus damaging the level of education in the state.

When asked that INLD remained in power several times in the state in past years now struggling hard to remain in state politics, Chautala said INLD plant was cultivated by Late Ch. Devi Lal whose only dream was that each and every citizen in the state as well as country should lead a happy life. He said, selfish party leaders as well as workers has already left the party, whereas loyal to party are still associated with INLD and Abhey Chautala is trying hard to strengthen party’s network and unite again. Chautala said, both Abhey Chautala as well as Dushyant Chautala claim following Ch. Devi Lal’s policies. Pointing at himself, INLD supremo said, Dushyant not only neglecting his real grandfather but also preparing to throw out Ram Kumar Gautam, to whom he always considered his grandfather, from his party because of lacking political knowledge.

In reply to another question Chautala admitted extremely poor political display by INLD in 2019 Vidhan Sabha polls due to division in the party as well as family and those having selfish motto, never wanted party’s welfare, not following Ch Devi Lal’s policies and wanted to reach to political heights overnight left party and joined JJP and large number of such party leaders are now willing to return and welcomed. When talked about coming Baoda bi-polls, Chautala said that this constituency has remained INLD base in past years but former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda claiming victory on this seat and INLD is fully prepared to contest polls on this seat predicting that after these elections ruling alliance government is likely to witness a friction and there are fair chances for mid-term Vidhan Sabha polls in Haryana state.

Chautala said, division in the family as well as party was due to handful of selfish persons for their self-vested interest. When asked, even at the age of 86, apart from decent behaviour in lock up and even on advice of doctors under health ground he has spent years in jail when large number of hard criminals have been released from jails by government and he has not been released from the jail due to political reasons because these people are afraid of him in-spite of the fact he has not committed any crime except given employment opportunities to large number of youths for which he is being punished.
