Inner Wheel Club organises awareness session

Chandigarh: The Inner Wheel Club, Chandigarh Central, organized an awareness session on the risks and harmful effects of drug abuse at Government Senior Secondary School, Sector 7, Panchkula. Club President,  Anjana Kapoor, reported that three hundred students attended the session, organized by representatives of Nek Soch, a non-governmental organization actively working in this field. The session highlighted how drug abuse can lead to addiction, damaging the mind and body, and can lead to serious illness and even death. Speakers noted that scrolling through mobile phones is also becoming an addiction these days. Students had created colorful posters on the theme “Say No to Drugs,” which they proudly displayed. Principal,  Sheela Dalal, and teachers Usha and Neelam, along with Club President, Anjana Kapoor, Treasurer, Shweta Gupta, Auditor, Geetanjali Garg, ISO, Veena Singla, and members, Anisha Ahuja and Veena Anand, were present at the session.
