Jakson-POWERnSUN tieup for sustainable Solar solutions in India

Jakson Group, a Pan-India energy and infrastructure company, announced recently a strategic partnership with Dubai-based ‘POWERnSUN’ – a specialist in sale of solar components – for exclusive distributorship of solar product portfolio in Lucknow, U.P. and Maharashtra.

While the products will be manufactured by the Jakson Group at their Noida Facility, this collaboration aims at significantly bolstering its distribution network in advancing a sustainable energy future for the regions and beyond, according to Anurag Garg, CEO, Jakson Solar Modules and Products Business.

Describing the partnership as a “critical step in our efforts for India’s self-reliant energy future,” Garg said “With our enhanced manufacturing capability of 1.2 GW and by developing key projects like the solar rooftop at Ayodhya Airport followed by a 40MW power plant in the State, we are solidifying our commitment to sustainable development.”

“We have delivered over 100,000 solar modules manufactured at our Noida facility,” he added.

Abhinav Sharma, Head of Sales & Business Development, Powernsun, noted that this partnership with the Jakson Group highlighted the mutual goals of both organizations to make solar energy solutions more accessible and affordable, by enabling consumers and businesses to lower their energy costs and adopt a more sustainable lifestyle, while also making a significant stride towards achieving India’s ambitious targets for sustainable and clean energy future including being NetZero by 2070.
