Jasdeep Singh Gill new head of Radha Soami sect Beas

Amritsar, September 2 –  Jasdeep Singh Gill has been nominated the spiritual head of Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) here on Monday. The announcement was made by the serving Sect head Gurinder Singh Dhillon,

Confirming this significant development, top Dera official said that Baba ji has come to Dera Beas yesterday and today in the morning called the meeting of all senior officials including Dera Secretary and other zonal heads wherein the name of his next successor was announced.

Official further clarified that the health of serving head Radha Somai sect was perfectly alright, hale and hearty.

Jasdeep Singh Gill

Gill is 45-year-old Gill is a doctorate in chemical engineering from Cambridge and an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, alumnus. Gill is presently residing in Mumbai. His wife is a doctor by profession. He was earlier working as the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Management Personnel in Cipla, India and resigned earlier this year.

RSSB secretary Devender Kumar Sikri in written statement issued here today said: “Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon has nominated Jasdeep Singh Gill, son of Sukhdev Singh Gill, as patron of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas Society with immediate effect from September 2, 2024.

“Jasdeep Singh Gill shall also succeed Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon as the Sant Satguru of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas Society and will have the authority of giving initiation (naam),” Sikri said.

Sikri further stated in the statement, “Baba Ji has expressed that like he has received full support and love of the ‘sangat’ after Huzur Maharaj ji, he has wished and requested that the same love and affection be given to Jasdeep Singh Gill in carrying out his ‘sewa (service)’ as patron and sant satguru.”

His father  Sukhdev Singh Gill after being retired from the Indian Army as  Colonel came to Beas  around more than two decades back and his son Jasdeep Singh Gill is regularly visiting and doing Sewa for the last more thirty years, said official source of the Dera Beas.

Jasdeep Singh Gill stepped down as the chief strategy officer and senior management personnel of pharmaceutical company Cipla Limited, where he worked from 2019 till May 31, 2024.
