Mamata Banerjee called Rahul Gandhi, next meeting of ‘INDIA’ may be on Nov 4 or 5

New Delhi : Trinamool Chairperson Mamata Banerjee was called and spoke to privately Rahul Gandhi, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and NCP leader Sharad Pawar. Congress and NCP leaders were reportedly interested in the meeting later this month in Nagpur (where the RSS  headquarter is situated). Then Mamata said that it would not be possible for her to go because of Lakshmi Puja at that time. But he can attend if the meeting is held by November 4 or 5. Incidentally, the alliance parties are realising that West Bengal is a big thorn in the seat settlement in various states. Recently, Sharad Pawar openly said that Congress, Trinamool, Left fought against each other in assembly elections but should fight together in Lok Sabha. He categorically said, “Congress and Left must fight under Mamata Banerjee in the Assembly Election”. However, the parties are largely agreed on the need for the alliance’s coordination committee to sit together quickly with senior, experienced leaders instead of relatively newbies for seat reconciliation. Apart from this, the Congress also wants to discuss about the caste census with Mamata Banerjee. Because, among the alliance of ‘INDIA’, the Trinamool Congress had objected to this earlier.
