NIA attached gangsters properties in Haryana

Yamunanagr:  In order to wipe out gangsters from Haryana state National Investigation Agency (NIA) has started a campaign against fast expanding network of gangsters as well as hard core criminals by conducting raids at  and attach their properties. Recently, CIA team accompanied by district police conducted raids at the residence of hard core criminals supporting the gangsters at Yamunanagar, Sonipat and Sirsa. Information reveals, such criminals are working for the notorious gangsters in Punjab and hiding themselves in adjoining state Haryana after criminal activities. Information also reveals that these gangsters are now trying to expand their network to spread terrorism in Haryana too.

Recently, on Monday NIA team from Delhi along with Haryana police started raids in Haryana to attach properties belonging to gangsters and hard core criminals. NIA raided the house at Luxmi Garden under Gandhi Nagar police station of gangster Virender Partap alias Kala Rana, a key member of an illegal syndicate run by gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Kala Jadhedi who had fled to Thailand in 2017-18 on the basis of a forged passport. Yamunanagar SP Mohit Handa told media persons that Haryana police extending full support to the NIA team. According to police information, Rana is involved in at least 30 cases of murder, attempt to murder, extortion and criminal activities across Haryana state. He had been carrying a reward of Rs 1,00,000 for his arrest in connection with a case registered in Haryana and a court later declared Rana a proclaimed offender in the case. Meanwhile, Rana left India using a fake passport. Kala Rana is presently in the custody of the Delhi Police lodged in Tihar Central Jail. IG Special Task Force S.Balan told that Haryana police will take him on production remand and question him regarding several cases registered against him in Haryana.

When NIA team reached the residence of Kala Rana at Yamunanagar to attach the house, his mother protested against NIA team that the house was in her name and his sons and husband have no claim to this property. According to information, both Joginder Singh father of Kala Rana and his brother Noni were arrested on September 15, 2022 by NIA team conducted raid at the house and recovered illegal weapons when CIA-II team of Haryana police had also arrested two youths Abhishek and Simranjit Bawa working on the tips of Kala Rana. NIA team again raided Kala Rana’s house on November 29, 2022 followed by arrest of a liquor contractor Tannu & Mannu involved in collecting funds for Kala Rana on February 21 this year.

NIA team led by Inspector Avinash Dagar also conducted raids at other gangsters in Haryana state on Tuesday and attached properties of Chhotu at village Chautala and Jagga at village Takhatmal in Sirsa district and affixed attachment notices outside the properties. NIA team accompanied by CIA Staff-II of Sonipat police also raided the house of Rajesh alias Mota allegedly involved to collecting funds on behalf of gangster Raju Banodi when NIA team also attached his property. According to information, special cell of Delhi police had received secret information that gangsters including Gaurav Patial from Chandigarh, Sukhdul from Moga, Gurvinder Singh from Ludhaia, Bhupinder alias Bhupi Rana  from SAS Nagar, Kaushal & Amit Dagar from Gurugram, Neeraj Bawana  from Delhi and few others are involved in conspiracies to spread terrorism in the country.
