Sirsa: Sirsa police in Haryana arrested a youth Pradeep for allegedly demanding ransom from Honeypreet the vice patron of Dera Sacha Sauda at Sirsa who is also an adopted daughter of dera head Gurmeet Ram Rahim presently undergoing imprisonment in jail. According to information she lodged a complaint with police that a caller had demanded Rs 50 lakh ransom amount from her on WhatsApp. The police, after investigation, arrested the accused within days identified as Pradeep a resident of Dabwali. Deepti Garg ASP Sirsa told media persons that the caller had identified himself as a henchman of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi on April 5 threatening to kill her in case the ransom amonm amount not paid.

During preliminary investigation arrested accused admitted that he had demanded ransom amount from Honeypreet in order to clear the amount of debts on him. Deepti Garg ASP told that during investigation alleged accuse Pradeep running a grocery shop had named Mohit working in Dera Sacha Sauda management involved in this crime due to a personal rivalry and had demanded ransom amount from the complainant since he was having loan worth Rs seven lakh in his business as such planned the conspiracy. A case was registered against him at Sadar police station after he was arrested by the CIA Staff.
