Pension of nearly 175000 pensioners discontinued in Haryana: AAP

Ambala: The main object for holding a press conference at Ambala by Naveen Jaihind Aam Admi Party (AAP) Convener in Haryana was to strongly condemn ruling Manohar government in the state. Addressing media persons Jaihind said that nearly five lakh pensioners which include retired government old-age employees, widows and handicapped persons are facing inconvenience in getting their pension since some of them find discontinued without reason by Haryana state government. Jaihind said, pension of 102 years old Dada Dulichand was discontinued all of sudden with no reason. He said, however state government has released a helpline number to help those sufferer in this regard and settle all disputes related to pensions.

Jaihind said, pension of nearly 175000 pensioners have been discontinued in Haryana state due to technical, political and family ID error or any other reason. He disclosed that out of total number of 1,04,691 pensioners whose disbursement of pension amount was discontinued in the state during investigation confirmed that 14691 persons had already died but falsely getting pension amount. Investigation also revealed that the husbands of nearly 18000 women declared widows in the state were found alive and such women were falsely availing the facility of widow pensioners since a long time.

While addressing media persons, Jaihind said there is acute shortage of jobs for youths in Haryana state and there are more than 30000 jobs vacant in government departments in the state not being filled up since a long time.  He said, Haryana state government have been assuring salaries to policemen in Haryana at par with policemen in Punjab government since a long times but no action has been taken in this regard so far.

As regard recent ‘Samman Divas’ rally organized by INLD at Fatehabad in the state in the memory of former Deputy Prime Minister Late Ch. Devi Lal, Jaihind said that he was a noble person always looking for the welfare of others, but INLD leaders are now trying to attract voters in his name for self vested interests and Tau Devi Lal’s soul must be weeping in heaven to see all this.
