PM’s Independence Day address lays blueprint for India to become a developed nation by 2047: ASSOCHAM

New Delhi :  Prime Minister  Narendra Modi’s address from the ramparts of Red Fort on 77th Independence Day of India would further the national resolve to become a developed country by 2047 while the country is marching fast to be amongst the third largest economy of the world, ASSOCHAM Secretary General  Deepak Sood said.

‘India has surely seized the initiative to lead the world in several transformational areas like clean energy, global peace and prosperity with equity,”  Sood said, lauding the Prime Minister’s inspirational speech . Focus on wider development and usage of innovation and technology for the people of the country is visible in several initiatives of the government.

The ASSOCHAM Secretary General said he admired the ”courage and a vision of the Prime Minister in foreseeing India’s great destiny based on the decisions and the policies of today, the Amrit Kaal”.

He said the Modi commitment to India’s human resource encompassing work force, aspirational women power is reflected in the I-Day speech .

The Vishwakarma Yojna with an outlay of Rs 15,000 crore for the workforce would empower human resources at the shop floor . The broad message of ‘Reform, Perform and Transform’ of the Prime Minister should keep us all motivated to take our great country to the summit of the developed world, Sood said.

Deepak Sood extended the Independence Day felicitations to the nation on behalf of over four lakh members/organizations of the ASSOCHAM, which has a rich legacy of over 100 years.
