Removal of HC stay on ‘75% jobs for local’ victory of Haryana youths: Chautala

Deputy Chief Mister Haryana Dushyant Chautala said removal of Punjab and Haryana High Court stay on 75% reservation in jobs for local youths from Haryana in private sector in the state by Supreme Court of India on the writ moved by Faridabad Industry Association against the decision by Haryana state government is victory of youths in the state as well Haryana state government. Chautala said, political parties in the state should not create obstacles in this matter going to help youths in the state having employment opportunities in private sector.

Punjab and Haryana Court had imposed stay on the decision of Haryana state government notification in this regard while hearing the case moved in the court on February 3, 2022 against Haryana state government notification Reservation Rule 2020 implemented on January 15 this year by Faridabad Industry Association as well as other industrial organizations saying that Haryana state government decision will not only be a binding on them but also injustice to brilliant youths. However, joint Bench of  Justice Nageshwar Rao and Justice B.R. Gawoi removed stay by Punjab and Haryana High Court directing to decide the case within four weeks after hearing both parties and till such time Haryana state government will not take any further action in the matter. B.R.Bhatia President Industry Association Faridabad told that earlier reservation in 75% jobs for youths in Haryana state was applicable for jobs up to monthly salary Rs 50000, which was reduced to Rs 30000 on the suggestion by few industry entrepreneurs in the state.

Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter also expressed happiness over Supreme Court of India decision to remove stay against 75% reservation in jobs for local applicants in private sector announced by Punjab and Haryana High Court which will solve unemployment problem in Haryana state to large extent. Khatter strongly condemned the figures stated as regard unemployed youths in Haryana state by a private organization CMI as 36% in December 2021 and the same organization declared 26% unemployed youths in the state in January 2022 which is merely a cruel joke and un-creditability of organization showing that Haryana state government has provided employment to 25 lakh persons in the state in a month.

Chief Minister said, large number of developmental programmes in Haryana state remained hanging on fire in past about one and half year mainly due to epidemic outbreak in the state and now after declaration of state budget all pending developmental programmes will be initiated on top priority. Khatter told that High Power Purchase Committee in the state in a recent meeting has approved 18 developmental agenda out of total number of 23 of value worth Rs 1000 crore, some of these include purchase of 220 vehicles for police department, jammers to be installed in all jails in the state, purchase of furniture for proposed Play- way schools in the state and purchase of transformers and electric cables for state electricity department.

Dushyant Chautala told that Haryana sate government has decided to develop a Footwear Park in about 500 acre area at Rohtak along with a common facility centre like in China apart from large number of existing footwear manufacturing units at Bahadurgarh in the district.  He said, there is a proposal to develop five ESI hospitals ranging from 100 to 500 Beds for the factory workers at Rohtak, Hisar, Karnal, Ambala and Sonepat.  Chautala disclosed that Maruti Udyog has already finalized the proposal to set up another manufacturing plant in 900 acre area at Kharkhoda in Sonepat district in the state for which amount worth Rs 240 crore towards cost of land has already been deposited with HSIIDC.
