Amritsar:  A retired Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) from Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) identified as Tarsem Singh has fired multiple gun shots targeting his first wife, son and daughter in Law.

Confirming the incident here, ACP Rishab Bhola said that retired DSP had two marriages and had a property dispute with his first wife for the past few years.

Bhola said today he fired gun shots targeting his first wife, son and daughter in law followed by verbal altercation. This incident happened near the police station. Police party deployed at nearby naka at Majitha Road area after seeing the incident overpowered the accused with his licensed weapon.

Police said that all the injured were immediately shifted to nearby Government Guru Nanak Dev Hospital where his son (40) succumbed to bullet injury.
