Ambala: Haryana Home Minster Anil Vij said that ‘Kabooterbaji’ will be completely eliminated from the state and strict action will be taken against whoever is small or big in this matter. While interacting with media persons at his Ambala camp office Vij said that people sell their land, jewellery, houses and give money to these ‘Kabootarbaj’ for going abroad but they they cheat people and loot their hard earned money. He assured, all these cheats will be crushed, eliminated in Haryana state soon.

Home Minister said that cases of ‘kabootarbaaji’ are increasing in the state and earlier also he had formed SIT, which was headed by the then IG Bharti Arora. On that time, the SIT arrested 589 people and curbed it.  Now the cases are coming again, so SIT has been formed under the IG Sibas Kabiraj of Ambala Range, which includes SP of Ambala Jashnadeep Singh Randhawa and SP of Kaithal Abhishek Jorwal.

Vij said that the SIT has started functioning and has issued a toll free number 8053003400 on which people can register their complaints, since the toll free number has been issued, eight fresh complaints have also come so far. He said, the SIT has also taken the old 365 pending cases under its supervision.  It has also been decided that DSP Headquarters will be the nodal officer in every district along with the SIT and the SIT will take action keeping in touch with them. He told to further improve the law and order meetings will now be held at the range level in the state.  Home Minister said that he holds meeting the police department at the headquarters, but now he has decided to hold every range-wise meeting and today he is holding a meeting to take stock of the law-order situation in Gurugram in which necessary directions will be given.

Reacting strongly to the allegations made by the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party on the BJP government of misusing the CBI and other agencies, Home Minister Vij said that now they have started seeing even a ‘Rassi ka saanp’. Vij said that be it the Chief Minister of the Congress, be it Rahul Gandhi or any other leader, the fear of the agencies has started troubling all of them and the fear of the agencies is only on those who have done wrong things.  Those who have not done wrong things, they sleep by pulling the blanket.  He said that they are speaking again and again every day and he has taken turns that one day a leader will speak and some day Rahul Gandhi himself will speak.

Home Minister said that ED and CBI are the apex agencies of the country which have earned name through their hard work and opposition parties want to malign its image. He continued that Agencies do not work under any pressure and they work independently, and raised a question  If they haven’t done anything wrong then why they are worried about it and if the agencies are doing any investigation then the opposition parties should be allowed to do the investigation
