New Delhi: The District Youth Development Organization rescued 10 children from the Karmabhoomi Express at Ambala Cantonment Railway Station on Wednesday . These children were being taken to Punjab and Jammu for labour. These included Nepali children who were being taken in the name of education. Action was taken on the information received from the Delhi organization and the Aadhar cards of all the children were found to be fake. Information reveals, Karmabhoomi Express has become a train for child smugglers along with passengers, due to repeated attacks on the childhood of innocents in past also. Yesterday, Karmabhoomi Express once again appeared to be a medium for child trafficking. On Wednesday, a team of the District Youth Development Organization rescued 10 children at the Ambala Cantonment Railway Station.

According to the information, all the rescued children were being taken to Punjab and Jammu for labour. Two children were residents of Nepal, who said that they were being sent to Jammu for studies. Similarly, three children from Bihar said that they were going to work in Amritsar with a person from the village. Information about the action was received from a Delhi-based organization. After this, the organization’s team reached Saharanpur station and waited for Karmabhoomi Express. As soon as the train arrived at 12:33 pm, the team boarded it. During the journey, the children were constantly questioned and their documents were checked, in which the Aadhar cards of all the children were found to be fake. This is the second time that so many children have been rescued from this train. Earlier, on August 21, 10 children were also rescued.
