The “Co-ordination Club,” a grassroots educational initiative situated in Patna, Bihar, has been a pioneer in transformative education since its establishment in 1981. This unique, informal institution emphasises practical learning and career preparedness, boasting a commendable record of mitigating unemployment among its enrolled participants.

Driven by a dedicated team of young individuals, the club embodies the philosophy of “Help Us to Help You.” This mutual support system fosters a strong sense of community among members, encouraging collaboration and driving notable achievements across various fields. While Bihar’s esteemed “Super Thirty” and recently Khan Sir have gained considerable acclaim, the influence of the Co-ordination Club is profound and widespread, often surpassing that of its more well-known counterparts.

What distinguishes the club is its innovative model: it operates entirely without formal instructors and provides educational resources free of charge. This approach is particularly advantageous for individuals from lower-middle-class and underprivileged backgrounds, who may otherwise lack access to quality education.

Members engage in comprehensive preparation for a range of competitive examinations across sectors such as railways, banking, paramilitary services, the military, police, and civil services. The expertise and guidance provided by senior members serve as mentorship for newcomers, significantly enhancing their prospects of realising their aspirations.

Each year, approximately 30 to 35 students from this institution secure positions in both the government and private sectors, making valuable contributions to organisations across India. The club’s ability to sustain itself independently for around 45 years without external funding or institutional support demonstrates its resilience and commitment.

To strengthen connections among its alums, the club has initiated reunions in multiple cities across the country. These gatherings serve to inspire former participants to reconnect and support current members, particularly in assisting youth from disadvantaged backgrounds in achieving their objectives.

The inaugural alums meet took place in the vibrant city of Mumbai and was subsequently extended to Patna and Delhi. Most recently, on December 22, the fourth alum gathering convened at the Gift City Club in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, followed by the fifth alum meeting at the Canara Bank Building in BKS, Bandra (East), Mumbai, on 24th January 2026. This notable gathering welcomed 27 members, including distinguished seniors of the club such as Shri Keshava Kumar, Shri Mrityunjay Kumar, Mashuqae Raza, Atulya Kumar, Manoranjan Mishra, Sanjay Kumar, Satish Singh, Ranjeev Kumar, Ritesh Sinha, and Anup Kumar. During this important event, Shri Amrit Pal Singh, one of the founders and a super senior member, shared insights with participants via an online platform from Ludhiana, emphasising the spirit of camaraderie that characterises the Co-ordination Club.
