Mumbai: “Making the film – “The UP Files” – was the need of the hour,” said veteran Bollywood actor, director and producer, Padma Shree/Padma Bhushan awardee Anupam Kher, while speaking during the poster launch and viewing of the film’s teaser here recently.
“The film +Kashmir Files+ opened the way for making such films and we can expect more such films like the UP Files in the future,” Kher – who was the Chief Guest at the function — said while expressing admiration of the actors and others involved in the making of the film.
The event marked a significant milestone as Anupam Kher unveiled the ‘first look’ materials including the teaser and posters, while also providing a glimpse into the world of “The UP Files.”
Describing the journey of producing “The UP Files” as both +challenging and rewarding,+ the film’s Producer Kuldeep Umrao Singh said “We believe in the power of story-telling and with this film, we aim to create an immersive experience that lingers in the hearts of our viewers.”
The film’s Director Neeraj Sahai said +The UP Files+ is a “labor of love, a culmination of dedicated efforts to bring forth a compelling narrative that resonates with the audience.”
Actor Manoj Joshi, who also acts in the film, noted that UP as a state has undergone significant changes in the past few years and that films are an important medium to share the stories of the people of India.
