Trinamool Congress & INDIA believes Special Session’s Agenda a Diversion, expecting some last minutes announcements

New Delhi: The agenda for the special Parliament session has still not been announced, Trinamool Congress’s (TMC) Spokesperson and the Leader of the Party in Rajyasabha said, because the announcement bulletin has a ‘sinister line’ saying this is not the exhaustive list of business. 

The Key members of the INDIA bloc, TMC’s Spokesperson Derek O’Brian criticised the ‘not-exhaustive’ agenda of next week’s five-day special session of the Parliament, announced, calling it a ‘disappointment’ and a ‘diversion tactic’. Trinamool Congress MP Derek O’ Brien on said the government could add “some business” at the last minute.

They will be up to dirty tricks, and they can add some business last minute,” Derek said. The Opposition took a dig at the government and alleged that it has been hiding the actual intention behind the session and would be ‘unleased at the last moment’.The Congress claimed that the agenda was announced following a ‘pressure’ from Sonia Gandhi as she wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi few days back seeking details of the list of business.
