UAE Rockstar Glenn Perry takes the jab against Coronavirus

Dubai, Jan 1:  While the world bid goodbye to the Old Year 2020, the New Year 2021 witnessed Rock Stars coming to the fore against Covid-19 in the UAE, where “Laila” legend musician Glenn Perry took a jab of the Pfizer-BioNTech anti-covid vaccine.

Expressing his thoughts here recently after taking his vaccine ‘jab,’ the international singer highlighted the vaccine’s importance in building “herd immunity” against the Corona virus.

“This is a forward leap in medical science and I am very happy that UAE has the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine which is 95% viable. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was recently approved for use by the US Food and Drug Administration and registered by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention. Presently, the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is the best out there,” he said.

Highlighting the fact that “82 million people are infected and almost 1.8 million people have died of Coronavirus,” Perry stated “If I was allowed to take the jab a million times, I would — because my main intention of taking the jab is to build herd immunity. The quicker we build herd immunity, the sooner we can eradicate coronavirus and restore our lives back to normality.”

 Were you frightened?

“No way. As a matter of fact, I was excited and energized and couldn’t wait to get the jab. I’ve sat tight for nearly a year. I could not stand by any longer. “

How do you feel after receiving the vaccine?

“Good.”

 What about side effects?
“Side effects don’t bother me. All medications have side effects. Besides, there are only 2 options. Take the jab and be prevented — perhaps with some side effects — or don’t take the jab and get contaminated and bite the dust of Covid-19. For me taking the jab was a superior choice.”
