Panipat: Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a couple originally residents  of Panipat from Zirakpur on charges of making and selling fake medicines of branded companies. The couple has already been booked in similar cases in Panipat and Uttarakhand in the past also. The STF will now question them about when they started this highly illegal business and who else is involved with them. Uttarakhand STF had earlier arrested a couple from Panipat from Zirakpur on charges of manufacturing and selling fake medicines of branded companies in the market. Cases are already registered against the couple for selling fake medicines from Panipat in Haryana and Uttarakhand. The STF will now question the accused as to when they started this illegal work and where they searched the market to sell fake medicines as well as how many more people are associated with them.

Earlier Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Model Town Panipat, used to run a store in the name of AP Medical College in a private hospital located at Sanjay Chowk. Many complaints were made against him for selling fake medicines of branded companies. Information also revealed that during the Corona epidemic outbreak period, a big fraud was committed by him by selling fake injections of Remedy Silver. After that several cases were registered against the accused in Panipat, when he absconded and made his hideout in Zirakpur (Punjab). Even after this, he did not leave this illegal business and many cases related to Pradeep and his wife Shruti came to light in Uttarakhand region. Uttarakhand Police formed STF and started efforts to arrest the accused.
