Ambala : On a question of alliance break between Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) in Haryana state government by media persons here during as usual morning Tea-point gathering at the Sadar Bazar Ambala Cantt, former Home & Health Minister Anil Vij said that he was unaware of what, why, how and when about it saying in a singing tone “Chhodo Kal Ki Baat Purani, Nai Daur mein Hum Milkar Kareinge Nai Kahani. Hum Hindustani, Hum Hindustani.”
On a media question regarding EVM by the political parties in opposition, Vij said that EVM always becomes a villain by the defeated political parties. As regarding CAA law introduced in the country recently, being highly criticised by several political parties in opposition including Congress, Vij said that the law has already been approved by the government, irrespective of the fact that any political party likes it or not. According to this law, anyone who migrated in the country from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan prior to 2014 belonging to non-muslim community may be provided citizenship in the country .
Pointing at Rahul Gandhi’s statements at several occasions the, former Home Minister Vij said, Rahul Gandhi should always carefully think before making a comment on the caste and religion, blaming that it was only due to Congress partition in the country took place in which lakhs of innocent people lost their lives, got separated from their families, faced miseries in their life when became homeless and now if our Prime Minister Narender Modi offering them a new life in the shape of citizenship on arrival to their motherland a handful of political parties has started opposing the same for their self-vested interest.
In reply to a statement by the Congress leaders that in case their party comes to power after 2014 elections, amount worth Rs 1 lakh will be provided to every woman every year by their government, Anil Vij raised a question over Congress leaders, which of the Congress group of their party leaders, led by Hooda or shelja or Rahul Gandhi would fulfill the same. As regards ‘Maha-Panchayat’ by the protesting farmers at Delhi, Anil Vij said that everyone has the right to make peaceful protests in a democratic country in support of their demands.
