AMBALA (Satih Handa): According o police record, 66 robberies and 25 dacoity and large number o snatching cases were registered at various police stations in Ambala range police comprising of  Ambala, Yamunanagar and Kuukshetra districts during year 2019 and 2020. As regard robbery cases, 66 cases of robberies, which included 36 cases in Ambala district, 16 cases in Kurukshetra district and 14 cases in Yamunanagar district were registered by the police of them 23 cases are yet unsolved by the police claims to wipe out fast increasing cases of robberies and dacoity but to no result.

As regard dacoity cases in Ambala range police the residents find relief in such cases during year 2019 and 2020 and out of 25 cases registered in this period 13 cases are still untraced. Information also reveals, robbery, dacoity and snatching cases are constantly increasing in Ambala district and 40 percent such cases have already been solved in Ambala district, 33% cases have been solved in Yamunanagar district and 71.42% dacoity  cases have been solved in Kurukshetra district.

While having a look at the graph of robbery cases in Ambala range police area 14 robbery cases were registered in Ambala district in 2019 and the number of these cases increased to 22 in 2010. However, the number of cases reduced to 4 in 2020 as against 10 cases registered in 2019. Similarly, the number of robbery cases reduced from 12 cases in 2019 to 4 cases in 2020. As regard dacoity cases, the number of cases increased from one in 2019 to 5 in in 2020 in Ambala district, the number of cases  increased from 3 in 2019 to 6 cases in 2020 in Yamunanagar district and the number of cases increased from 3 in 2019 to 7 cases in Kurukshtra district.
