Jhajjar: Under Haryana police’s rapid action, 174 Bangladeshis arrested in Jhajjar in 24 hours staying illegally and sent to detention centers After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir and arrest of several persons working as ISI spies, Haryana Police has also tightened its grip on illegal Bangladeshis and 174 Bangladeshis have been arrested in 24 hours, including 58 are men, 52 are women and 64 are children as the Police Commissioner has given clear instructions that no illegal person will be allowed to stay. The process of their verification is going on and Police team is interrogating Bangladeshis living illegally in Jhajjar. The search for other persons is still going on and in the past 24 hours, police teams kept bringing these people from brick kilns to the police line even at night and the process of their verification continued during the day as well. The process from medical to finger prints has been completed. Where the initial work related to their verification was done.
Amid the tension created after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the police and intelligence units in Haryana have intensified action against illegal Bangladeshis living in the state. A special search operation was conducted by Jhajjar police. Under this operation, 174 Bangladeshis were identified within 24 hours, most of them found working in brick kilns. The process of their investigation is still going on. Jhajjar Police Commissioner Dr. Rajshree Singh has given clear instructions to all police stations and outpost in-charges that no one is allowed to stay here without authorization. Throughout the day on Sunday, police teams were seen taking these people from one place to another in buses and completing the paperwork and sending them to detention centers for the process from medical to finger prints and the initial work related to their verification.
