Action against illegal construction in area of Delhi-NCR & illegal mining in Mewat area

Police have taken strict action against illegal mining in Firozpur Jhirka of Mewat. A person was arrested while doing illegal mining on the Aravalli hill of Baghola village. Police recovered tools from the spot and registered a case against nine people including the tractor owner and driver. This action has been taken after the strictness of the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police.
Gurugram/ Mewat: The District Town Planner Department Rewari demolished six illegal constructions on the Dharuhera-Rewari road. DTP Mandeep Sihag said that these constructions were made without seeking permission and the department is taking action against illegal colonies and structures in the district on Tuesday accompanied by heavy police force. He made an appeal to the people to avoid illegal constructions and check the validity before buying a plot or a structure. According to information, DTP team took action to demolish six illegal constructions in village Masani which were constructed without permission. Hr warned that campaigns against illegal colonies will continue. While talking to media, Sihag said that some people had made six large illegal constructions without permission near village Masani on Dharuhera Road, which have been demolished. This action will continue further.

Information reveals, District Town Planner has been running a campaign against illegal colonies being developed in the NCR area as well as illegal constructions without obtaining permission from concerned departments now taking action to demolish such illegal constructions. He has requested the general public not to do any illegal construction in the controlled area and before purchasing a plot, ensure the legality of that colony from his office so that loss can be avoided in departmental action. He said, apart from this, before doing any kind of construction take permission as per the government rules. He said that property dealers who develop illegal colonies sell plots on empty land by showing false hopes to the common people.

Police have taken strict action on the order by the government against increasing cases of illegal mining in Mewat area, especially in Firozpur Jhirka of Mewat and cases have been registered against 9 persons involved in illegal mining . A person was arrested while doing illegal mining on the Aravalli hill of Baghola village. Police recovered tools from the spot and registered cases against nine people including the tractor owner and driver. This action has been taken after the strictness of the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police Nuh under Ferozepur Jhirka police station. According to information, the effect of the administration’s strictness regarding illegal mining has started to show satisfactory results regarding illegal mining. On Monday, Sadar police station arrested persons during raids involved in illegal mining. and Police recovered hammers, iron rods and other items from them. Police have started investigation by registering cases against one person from Bagholag village and eight people from Rava village who were arrested allegedly involved in illegal mining.

Both the Deputy Commissioner and the Superintendent of Police had held a meeting with the officials of several departments of the district and clearly warned that illegal mining in the Aravalli hills will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Both the district officials had inspected the road built illegally by some people in the forest area of the Forest Department in the Aravalli of Basaimev village and had also dug it with a bulldozer and made a deep ditch. Sadar Thana Firozpur Jhirka in-charge Ombir Singh received information that some people are involved in illegal mining in the hills of Baghola village and they steal the stones mined from the hills and load them in tractors. This is not only violating the orders of the Supreme Court but the government is also suffering huge losses due to illegal mining.

 On getting a secret information, Sadar Thana Firozpur Jhirka in-charge Ombir Singh mediately formed a team and sent it to raid the hills of Baghola village and arrested Shaukat of Baghola village while he was doing illegal mining from the hills. The police also seized the tools from him with which he was doing illegal mining from the Aravali hills and police have registered a case against Shaukat and eight other people of Rava village on charges of illegal mining. According to information, police have also registered a case against eight other people of Rava village including the owners and drivers of the tractors in which the illegally mined stones were stolen and transported, and this action taken by the police has created panic among the mining mafia.
