Chief Minister Haryana launches first Air Taxi service in country

 Chief Minister Haryana Manohar Lal Khattr gave green signal to first Air Taxi service between Chandigarh and Hisar first time in the country on Thursday at Hisar domestic airport which will complete 244.2 km journey in only 45 minutes as against between four to five hours by road and there is a proposal to have Air Taxi service on 26 routes across the country shortly and fare will be charged according to the distance and on line booking will be made to avail this service.  Civil Aviation Ministry, Government of India has given permission. to start Air Tax to start air taxi  service under Regional Connectivity Scheme 2015.

 Information reveals, initially, Captain Varun Suhag originally hailing from Jhajjer in Haryana state launched start up in the name of AirTaxi Service at domestic airport Hisar to Chandigarh. While talking to Media persons, he said that he is going to start air taxi service for Dehradun from January 18 in the second phase and to Dharamshala on January 23 2021 in third the phase when booking will be conducted on-line. He told that air service between Hisar and Chandigarh will cost a passenger only Rs 1755 which is less than the travelling by a car on road and passenger will save much time in travelling 244.3 km distance between Hisar and Chandigarh in minutes while travelling by road besides lost of tiredness in journey.

 Capt. Varun Suhag told that he took flying training fom Florida in USA and had an idea to introduce this service in his home state Haryana and sought assistance of Capt. Poonam Gaur in this venture investing amount worh Rs 10 crore. He said, he aims to start air taxi service to nearly 26 destinations across the country within this year..
