Forty one Kilograms drug seized  

Amritsar, August 23 – Special Task Force (STF) Wing OF Punjab police have seized 41 kilograms of drug (Heroin) which was smuggled to India from Pakistan through Ravi Riverine route.

In a statement issued here today, STF official said that Police succeeded to seize 41 kilograms Heroin with the arrest of three accused who were identified as Agayapal Singh, Ranjodh Singh and Sandeep Singh all were residents of Village Ramdas of Ajnala Town of district Amritsar.

Official said that last evening on the tip of these   three accused were nabbed for investigation purpose and during the course of interrogation today they took the police party where they had concealed the huge consignment of drugs which was smuggled to India from Pakistan.

Police said that arrested accused were having cozy relationship with the Pakistani based smugglers who were helpful to the arrested kingpin Agaypal Singh to smuggle the consignments of drugs to India from Pakistan.

Police said that arrested accused who were having past criminal record were presently out from the bars after obtaining bail from the court of law.
