Haryana health minister inaugurates first sanitization chamber in hospital

Haryana home, health and sports minister Anil Vij inaugurated first sanitization chamber in hospital in the state at his dream project civil hospital in his Vidhan Sabha constituency Ambala Cantt Earlier, a sanitization tunnel was installed yesterday at the entry point of Haryana civil secretriate at Chandigarh. Vij said that arrangements are being made to install sanitization chambers in every government hospital in the state at the earliest for the safety of patients visiting OPD in the hospitals as well visitors to the hospital. Vij told media persons that sanitization chamber having 15 litre capacity has been developed by technical institute in the state costing each unit between Rs 17000 to Rs 20000.

Vij disclosed that 14 FIRs were registered, 21 persons arrested and 921 vehicle owners were fined in Ambala district in past 24 hours allegedly violating lock down directions. He disclosed, cases under sections 188, 269, 270 IPC has been registered against six ‘Zamaatis’ arrested by the police on a information found hiding in a house at Yamunanagar. He said, 11 KEVID-19 hospitals have been set up in Haryana state for the treatment of corona positive patients. He said, in view of rising corona positive cases detected at Gurugram, administration has ordered compulsory use of face mask in the district. Information reveals, six employees working in the hospitals in the state are also suffering from corona virus including four staff nurses each at Panchkula, Panipat, Karnal and Bahadurgarh, a doctor at Karnal and a MPHW worker at Faridabad.

Ashok Sharma, Deputy Comissioner Ambala had a meeting with all senior officers in the district and told that a total number of 266 persons were suspected corona positive in the district, of them report of 190 persons was found negative, seven persons were found corona positive and reports of 63 suspected persons is yet awaited. Sharma said that two corona positive ‘Zamaatis’ hailing from Nepal admitted in the hospital have been cured since their reports have been observed positive. Another corona positive youth from Punjab being treated at Ambala has also been cured according to his positive report being sent for testing again. DC told that a case is being registered against the family of deceased died due to corona fever few days ago at Timber Market Ambala Cantt allegedly misguiding district administration not to disclose that victim was suffering from corona virus. He said, 36 teams have been deployed in twin city Ambala, surveyed 3645 residential houses screening 15390 persons, of them five were found suffering from flu and samples of four of them were sent for testing. Meanwhile, Flag March was conducted in the town today jointly by Gauri Midha SDM and Nikita an IPS officer to review lock down situation.

According to state health department information, nearly 170 corona positive cases has been reported in Haryana so far, which include 39 cases at Nuh, 32 cases at Gurugram, 28 cases each at Palwal and Faridabad, 7 cases at Ambala, , 5 cases each at Panchkula and Karnal,  4 cases at Panipat, 3 cases each at Sirsa and Sonepat,  2 cases each at Bhiwani, Kaithal, Hisar and Jhajjar, one case each at Rohtak, Charkhi Dadri, Jind and Fatehabad. According to information, 18 corona positive patients has been stated cured in the state so far including 9 at Gurugram, 4 at Panipat, 2 at Faridabad. One case each at Hisar, Palwal and Sonepat. Health department Haryana data reveals that over 110 corona positive cases in the state belong to ‘Zamaatis’ arrived in the state after attending Tabligi Zamaat event, which include  37 cases at Nuh, 27 cases at Palwal, 17 cases at Faridabad, 14 cases at Gurugram, 5 cases at Ambala, 3 cases at Panchkula, 2 cases at Bhiwani and one case each at Kaithal, Jind, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad and Sonepat. Information also reveals that among 10 ‘Zamaatis’ arrived in Haryana after Tabligi Zamaat event included 6 hailing from Srilanka and one each from Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia and S. Africa. There were many ‘Zamaatis’ arrived in Haryana state from other parts in the country including 11 from U.P, 10 from Himachal Pradesh, 8 from Bihar, 7 from Tamilnadu,  5 from Kerala,  4 from West Bengal 3 each from Jammu-Kashmir and Maharashtra, 2 from M.P, and one each from Karnatka, Chinnai, Punjab and Assam.
