The Society is deeply concerned about the recent incident involving a Correspondent in Rae Bareli during the Nyay Jodo Yatra.

It is essential for all political party leaders to refrain from making any derogatory remarks that may incite violence against journalists/news reporters.

Press freedom is a fundamental element woven into the tapestry of this democratic nation, and it is imperative for all political parties to safeguard the same in the interest of our nation’s democratic values.
