Over 150 females cheated worth crores rupees by Nigerian gang

Manesar police station registered a case against a gang lof cheats ed by two Nigerian youths echeated more than 150 females amount worth crores of rupees offering attractive gifts. Cyber police Gurugram arrested both Nigerians identified as Abube Feliski and Chukwaka Evar both residing at Nilothi in Delhi and allegedly duping  large number of women including most of them even in upper mid age residing at Faridabad, Gurugram, Sonipat and other towns in Haryana as well as rest part of the country seeking friendship on internet as well as other sites on social media ,introducing them as living at UK, USA and other European countries working in senior positions. The gang members also used to contact women on matrimony sites offering attractive gifts from abroad after gaining faith in them and assuring them to marry..

Cyber police started investigation on the complaint lodged on April 10 this year by one of the female from Gurugram duped of Rs 1.80 crore recently when police arrested both Nigerians from Delhi and seized a cheque book, 16 bank passbooks, 25 ATM cards, 7 mobile phones, SIM cards, one laptop and Rs 10,000 cash from their possession. Both the accused were produced in the court and remanded to police custody for four days. Police sent all seized mobile phones and laptop to IT cell to find out detailed datas in them which indicated that Abube Feliski was in in touch with the woman posed himself as a British Airways pilot seeking friendship withy her when he told her to send a gift parcel consisting of an i. Phone, jewellery and other valuable products and a parcel arrived in her name for which she was asked to deposit Rs 35,000 as tax. Subsequently, she was duped of Rs 1.80 on the pretext of various other fees and clearances as indicated in the complainant by her.

Inspector Naresh Kumar investigating the case told that there are total number of eight members in the gang including three women belonging to Mizoram and female members usually offering friendship to male persons on social media, trap them in their net and cheat them by demanding money to be deposited in their bank account.
