Over 6 lakh unemployed youths looking for jobs in Haryana

More than 6.18 lakh unemployed educated youths in Haryana, according to a recent survey, are in search of jobs in spite of fact nearly 56000 youths have been able to get government jobs and recruitment of nearly 17,000 unemployed youths is under process during present government rule in the state.

Information also reveals that 85152 unemployed youths are getting unemployment alolowance as per state government rules.

Sources said that Bhiwani district in the state leads in employed youths in the state and district wise detail includes 57685 employed youths in Bhiwani, 53553 youths in Jind, 49700 youths in Hisar, 46382 youths in Karnal, 41376 youths in Yamunanagar, 39478 youths in Sonepat, 34242 youths in Rohtak, 30617 youths in Jhajjar, 30260 youths in Kurukshetra, 29930 youths in Faridabad, 28837 youths in Sirsa, 28344 youths in Kaithal, 27865 youths in Panipat, 25888 youths in Ambala, 22856 youths in Fatehabad, 22695 youths in Narnaul, 19125 youths in Rewari, 10166 youths in Gurugram 9997 youths in Nuh and 9569 youths in Panchkula districts.

Addressing media persons at Ambvala, HPCC Vice President and a former minister Nirmal Singh on the basis of a RTI information disclosed in past four years with effect from the year 2014 as many as 14222 unemployed youths including 5276 studied up to class XII in the district got themselves registered with Employment Office, of them only 26 youths were able to secure job till October 2018.

It was also observed that in the office of Divisional Employment office Ambala out of total number of 22 posts are lying vacant. Information also reveals that out of total number of 33001 unemployed youths registered with the employment office Ambala till the year 2018 only 555 youths are getting unemployment allowance.

However, local BJP leaders alleged Congress leader misguiding people saying that most of the vacancies in the state are being filled up by the Staff Selection Board for which registration with employment office is not necessary.
