Project for 2000 retail outlets in Haryana finalised

CHANDIGARH (SATISH HANDA): Project for 2000 retail outlets for sale of essential commodities products of daily use, which will include 1500 outlets in rural areas and 500 outlets in urban areas in Haryana state was finalised in a meeting in the office of Haryana Agro Industries Corporation Limited Chandigarh in which Retail Expansion Project was finalized in the presence of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter, Agriculture Minister J.P Dalal, State Cooperative Minister Banwari Lal and Rohit Yadav Managing Director Haryana Agro Industries Corporation Limited who told that the project to promote self employment opportunities for youths will be  inaugurated by Chief Minister on February 11, 2021.on the eve of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay Jayanti.

Yadav said, nearly 30% products sold in these retail outlets would include those products manufactured by government organizations including HAFED, VITA, AMUL, NAFED, KHADI BOARD, Self-help Groups and Farmers Producers Societies. He told that nearly 30% products sold in these retail outlets would be produced by Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises in Haryana and adjoining state and remaining 40% products sold in these retail stores would include popular brands manufactured by national and international level manufacturing companies
