Violators of wearing face mask, social distancing, spitting to be prosecuted

Addressing media persons, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said that state government is going to constitute a new law for those violating government directions including wearing face masks when outside the house, implement social distancing and spitting at a public places and warned that legal cases will be taken against those violating directions for which intimation has been sent to related administrative and police officers in the state and chief minister Haryana has been requested to release  notification in this regard at an early.

Vij said, Corona warriors are bravely fighting at front foot at the cost of their lives and in case of attack over them will not be tolerated at any cost and stern action as per law will be taken against accused.  He said, investigation as regard suspected corona positive cases has been increased in the state and state health department has conducted over a lakh tests with 66% recovery rate identified so far for which credit goes to state health department Haryana, besides people in the state possess better immunity power as compared to people in other states to fight corona.

Pointing at Punjab government, Vij said Punjab is known for friendly relationship with every one, but unfortunately a handful political leaders in the state has always expressed non-cooperative attitude with Haryana state suggesting Punjab chief minister to hand over the area in civil secretriate building at Chandigarh of Haryana share as per agreement.

In reply to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s comments that lock down declared by ruling government has proved failure, Vij said that everything appears failure to a person failed in life. He said, in the absence of lock down the number of deceased due to corona virus would have been much higher and the number of  corona positive cases would have been over 15 lakh as compared to slightly over 1.5 lakh at present.
